Sweater Clip / Guard Tutorial

I own a lot of sweaters.

Cute findings, alligator clips, and a silver chain (super glue not pictured)

I was not cognizant of this until about a month back a co-worker said to me, "oh, I thought of you this weekend, I saw this sweater..." I was taken aback hearing this. Why would someone think of me when they see a sweater? Apparently, I learned, because I wear a lot of sweaters.

Attach the chain to the alligator clip. I used the tabs on the end.

Buying some collared blouses, and doing my best to resist all the great winter sweaters I saw on clearance, I did my best to break the label of "the girl that wears a lot of sweaters." Unfortunately, my shopping ratio on theses trips was 1:1 for buying non-sweaters and sweaters.

Super glued the flowers on.

Now owning even more sweaters, and some collared shirts I probably wont wear, I awoke Saturday morning and realized that I wanted, no... needed a sweater clip. I should have stopped myself. Searching ebay for an accessory for something I was trying to distance myself from has to be enabling.

Well, at least I'm not modeling it on a sweater.

Not having the patience to buy one online and wait for it to arrive, and instead deciding I would just make one is probably going to make matters worse. I now have an adorable sweater clip, that I'm going to want to rotate through every cardigan I own. This will only mean my sweaters are going to get even more use. Ah well, if you love it, why fight it?
