Of course my sewing machine has puttered out at the minute, and it really isn't a good time for me, because it's HALLOWEEN! I had promises to make a knock off of the above R2D2 costume for Aidan, not to mention my own costume, which I have all the fabric for, but not machine to put it together with.
In the meantime, I have some beading that I was planning on doing and posting, but every time I walk to the craft desk, and see my poor mangled machine, I end up doing nothing. Which is really bad news, considering that I need to get started now, if I'm going to get my Christmas crafting in. (I know, I know, no one likes to mix holidays, but with how busy we crafters are, we have to get a jump start)
In fun news, I totally found a "Gothic Amulet" in the Halloween accessory section of Walmart that bears more than a passing resemblance to Eye of Agamotto. I grabbed it up, along with a a can of white hair spray, for Shawn to be certain doctor of the occult. Though after much laughter, I think Shawn will probably be a certain other doctor, his costume is so much easier to make anyway!

Oh! Thanks, I'm planning on trying a new pedal, but you know why I don't want to go to Irving street...
I asked my mom if I could borrow her machine and she said, "of course." So now, I just have to get over there.
