Who knew they would just pop on?All right, I'm on a role now, I have the collar, all the trim, and the sleeves on. I didn't actually take any photos of the sleeves or the process, because they were so bothersome! The circumference of the sleeve was too small to fit around my machine, so I had to keep twisting it. Which also meant, that on more than one occasion I caught up some of the excess sleeve fabric in the arm hole. In the end though, they came out perfect.
I swear it isn't this pink.
The collar on the other hand went much easier than I could ever had imagined. I like the trick of just lining the neck portion with bias tape, it was very simple, and there is no way it would ever show under a chubby little neck.
Just need to buy white snaps...
The one nice part about putting the sleeves in, was that it drove me to the conclusion to open them back up along the seam, before I applies the bias tape trim. I know for certain, that if I had left the sleeve sewed closed, that there would be no way I could get that skinny bias tape on properly!

Just need to buy white snaps...The back casing wasn't an issue either, once my Mom lead me through the directions. Again, I apologize for the dark/flash photos, I've been sewing in the evening again. After applying all the trim to the bottom, the sleeves, and the collar, sewing the sleeves, attaching the collar, and making the button casing, all I have left is to run out and buy some white snaps (which if I had the forethought to do snaps, I would have bought one of those fancy strips, instead of sewing them on one by one, ah well) and attach them. Once I had a moment of sunshine, I promise to take some lovely photos of the practically finished project!
