Handy Solutions

It seems I forgot to write this on Friday.

I have a good excuse. I was way too excited over beach weekend.

I had a great time. I got windburned, sunburned, and didn't craft a thing.

I did however organize something earlier, and I thought my solution was kinda crafty.

I had this wonderful mess.

Actually I had two of those boxes full of Justice League Unlimited figures (one box for good guys and one box for bad guys naturally).

Hooty Mac , I think these figures are so great. It was killing me, that they all lived in a box on a shelf.

I had my favorites in a pathetic display, but I became determined to do something about this. Now, my place is a bit limited on space, and in searching for figure display options, I came to the realization that the best solution was to use my wall space.

After a long walk around Target, another Target, and Bed, Bath, and Beyond; I ended up at Home Depot in search of a mounted spice rack.

Yes, I had thought that would be the ideal solution.

However, what I found there was a peg board system, and in my opinion, a brilliant solution.

I was rather shocked, that once I got them up there, the pegboard was rather filled. A few days later, and after I took this photo, it filled to capacity with the missing Green Lantern Corps, and some more teammates.

Fortunately, I did have a standard pegboard cut to fit that space, moreover I rescued the rubbish portion of it. My new plan is to mount the rubbish portion and divide the forces of light and darkness. I think darkness will live just to the left of the light.

However, until I get around to that, they're all stuck up there with an uneven truce!
